Allyson Dow is an accomplished and experienced Oklahoma family law trial lawyer whose practice is focused on divorce, child custody and other family law practice areas which Fry & Elder has excelled in for over 40 years. Allyson has worked as an Oklahoma family law trial lawyer advocating for her clients since 2012.
Though less than a year into her tenure at the nationally-recognized Oklahoma law firm of Fry & Elder, Allyson already is living up to the high standards set before her by current Fry & Elder trial lawyers. Considered a rising star by many in the state, the Oklahoma City divorce and child custody lawyer was named the 2017 Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Chair, making her the third attorney in the past four years from Fry & Elder to be given the distinguished title.
Though Allyson already has established herself as an authority figure in Oklahoma family law, she also has garnered national accolades for her courtroom prowess. Allyson was named a Super Lawyers® Rising Star the past two years. She joins fellow Fry & Elder Oklahoma City lawyers Aaron D. Bundy and T. Luke Barteaux, along with her brother M. Shane Henry, as Super Lawyers® Rising Stars™.
She has attended and completed the famed Roger Dodd Trial Skills Clinic and the Trial Advocacy Institute of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Allyson is active in Oklahoma Bar Association Continuing Legal Education and has authored a practice manual.
Before she began practicing law and established herself as a dynamic Oklahoma family law trial lawyer, Allyson worked as an internal auditor for Ernst & Young in Dallas, TX shortly after earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Accounting and Human Resource Management.
Allyson entered law school at the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2012. For her efforts, Allyson was named the University of Oklahoma Outstanding Family Law Student for 2011-2012.
