For over 40 years, the trial lawyers at Fry & Elder have long been considered authority figures in Oklahoma family law. Perhaps no platform provides a better example of their recent prowess in family law than the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section. All total, Fry & Elder Oklahoma City family law attorneys have filled three of the past four Family Law Section Chair posts.
“It’s a little crazy how it’s worked out that way,” Fry & Elder trial lawyer Allyson Dow said. “I don’t think it was ever our intent to proceed one another like this. I think we just each see the value and the benefits that go along with being involved in the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section. I think I can say that we all believe the position has been very rewarding.”
Dow serves as the 2017 Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section Chair, while fellow Fry & Elder trial lawyers M. Shane Henry and T. Luke Barteaux served as the chairpersons for 2014 and 2016, respectively.
During Barteuax’s term as chair in 2016, he offered this about the position: “It’s a lot of work, but it’s been very rewarding. Fortunately for me, Shane held the same position a couple of years before so going in I knew a lot about what the position entailed. I’ve had a lot of good help and great resources.”
The resources and team-like atmosphere Fry & Elder embodies has helped lead to individual success for each Oklahoma family law attorney.
